Official says Aeroflot sells 80% of tickets below cost after check
MOSCOW, Jun 17 (PRIME) -- Russian airline Aeroflot has started to sell 80% of tickets at below cost after a check by the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov told the Federation Council on Wednesday.
"Many people were worried by air transportation tariff growth, which caused a targeted check by the Prosecutor General's Office and the Federal Antimonopoly Service. After a report, Aeroflot took measures to raise affordability of flights," Krasnov said.
The company also took measures to form tariffs to the destinations where it is a monopoly at competitive principles.
